Your Introduction to Remedial Massage

Remedial massage helps to alleviate muscle tension, improve circulation, and reduce stress, promoting overall physical and mental well-being. It also aids in the healing of injuries by increasing flexibility, reducing pain, and enhancing the body's natural recovery processes.

Remedial Massage for 360 Health

At 360 Health, we believe in the powerful synergy of remedial massage and colonic therapies to enhance overall wellness.

When combined, these treatments not only promote deep relaxation but also stimulate circulation and aid detoxification. Remedial massage can help release tension and improve digestive function, making your body more receptive to the benefits of colonic hydrotherapy. Together, they create a holistic approach to health, leaving you feeling rejuvenated, revitalized, and ready to embrace life’s adventures!

Your Guide to Remedial Massage

  • How does Remedial Massage fit into the 360 Health Philosophy?

We like our patients to gain an understanding of why their body hurts and why it is functioning the way it is, and that often requires more individual assessment.

Yes, we want to relieve your aches and pains through our qualified Remedial Massage service, but it's equally important to explore options so that you can  look after your own wellness, by getting to know your own body better.

  • Are treatments covered by private health cover?

Yes, we provide on-the-spot HICAPS claims for eligible private health card holders

  • What qualifications do your Remedial Massage Therapists hold?

We believe your massage therapist should uphold a minimum standard of somebody who is second or third year trained in anatomy and Physiology trained.

This is so we understand what treatments work best as an overall approach to your health.

  • Do your recommend massage as a single treatment?

It is part of our values that our team of multi-disciplinary practitioners  take  an overall look at your health rather than treat 'syptoms'.

We don’t see remedial massage as a standalone initiative but part of an adequate intervention to help people achieve holistic health goals.

  • Are there times when you won't recommend having a Remedial Massage?

We would not recomend Remedial Massage If somebody's had recent surgery, they had a skin condition that could flare up, or they’ve got flu symptoms.

This is largely why we will ask clients to complete their online health history.

Massaging someone who has flu symptoms for example, is the worst thing we can do because the virus gets pushed all around the body,

Without that preliminary information we can't really comment on the whether massage is the most suitable treatment or not.

With a health assessment, you can keep your appointment knowing that your practitioner has your best interest in mind and may recommend an alternate treatment, for example supply you with a supplement that's going to help your immune response.
